The PS3 Rumor Mill: Upcoming Games and Rumors
The system looks amazing. Though the need to fix a few minor bugs resulted in the PlayStation 3's release date being pushed back, this has not diminished the excitement over the console's impending release. Even though the Sony PS3 is designed to be more than a video game system, but to be an entirely new leap in multi-media in general, that does not change the fact that everything starts with the gaming system, and the gamers need to be satisfied if Sony is going to keep its strong showing in the video game market place. So it is no surprise that the rumor mills are full of speculations, thought, fact, and hope on what series of games the new PS3 system is going to bring with it.
It is all but certain that the release of the PS3 will coincide with the release of the latest Grand Theft Auto game. This extremely controversial video game series may get protests and angry letters, but nevertheless it will also sell over a million copies because it has grown to include a huge following. Anytime a video game can create its own franchise, you can bet that a company is going to ride that as far as it will go. It's simply supply and demand: as long as the demand exists a company will always rather invest in a game with a following than go out on a limb with a new title.
Along the same lines, rumor has it that the PS3 will also be releasing several other games that belong to their own series. Metal Gear Solid 4: Sons of the Patriots will be the newest, and final, game in the Metal Gear Solid series. Plans are also set up for the release of Resident Evil 5, Unreal Tournament 2007, and Devil May Cry 4. By releasing a series of games like this, Sony is guaranteeing that fans of some very different types of video game sagas will all still have a reason to purchase this system. One of the most popular rumors, though this one has yet to show any proof, is that Sony is looking to re-make Final Fantasy 7, one of the most popular installments of maybe the most popular video game series in history, and write the programming to work on a PS3 with all new and more advanced graphics. If this rumor pans out, it would be a dream come true for many an RPG fan.

The Categories of Wind- An informative article about the different kinds of winds.
The speed at which the air current moves, and the direction from which it moves determines what the wind is named and also determines weather the wind is harmful or beneficial. A wind of 19 to 24 mile an hour is classified as a fresh breeze, and is not harmful. When the wind reaches a speed of 47 miles an hour, it is called a strong gale, and may cause some damage to fruit crops. At 64-75 miles an hour, it is considered a wind storm and dangerous to both crops and properties. Above 75 miles an hour, when it is classified as a hurricane, wind is devastating among its damage to crops, properties, and man himself.
The most dangerous wind of all winds is the tornado, a swirling movement of the wind in a counterclockwise direction, sometimes at more than 300 miles per house. The speed of a tornado has never been measures accurately, but the destruction is almost incredible.
In describing the force of wind, mariners use a scale drawn up in 1805 by Rear Admiral Sir Francis Beaufort, a famous British hydrographer. He developed a historic table of the strengths of winds based on the effect of wind on sailing ships.
0-1 MPH - Calm, 1-2 MPH - Light Breeze, 4-7 MPH - Slight Breeze, 8-12 MPH - Gentle Breeze, 13-18 MPH - Moderate Breeze, 19-24 MPH - Fresh Breeze, 25-31 MPH - Strong Breeze, 32-38 MPH - Moderate Gale, 39-46 MPH - Fresh Gale, 47-54 MPH - Strong Gale, 55-63 MPH - Whole Gale, 64-75 MPH - Wind Storm, Above 75 MPH - Hurricane

PSPs: Is it as Beautiful as it Looks?
The PSP has enjoyed a strong support that is rarely matched for a hand held console. When you first see a PSP, you will probably immediately notice the screen. The screen dominates the device, which takes a full two-thirds of the device. For a hand held device, that is amazingly massive. The PSP feels perfectly balanced between both hands, making it easier to play. The screen is designed to be completely hypnotic, drawing any gamer completely into the world of the video or game that is playing. The black color is only natural, since the PS2 was also made to be black.
The PSP, with battery, a memory stick, case, and everything else together weighs a very light ten ounces, less than a full pound. This makes it much lighter than the old fashioned Gameboys and makes it easy to put in a jacket pocket. One major problem that the PSP initially had, and still has some degree of issue with, is that the screen is a fine glossy screen and as a result, it is easy to leave fingerprints and various smudges. Obviously most people aren't going to wear gloves to play video games, and even the most careful handling would still leave marks.
The front of the PSP has the directional pad on the left side, and the analog thumb stick below that. The analog thumb stick is a complaint of some gamers, who say it's too far down, since there is no thumb support when you use it. The PSP also features the basic circle, square, triangle, and x buttons any Play station gamer is already familiar with. The left and right trigger buttons are at the top and are clear.
The PSP console also has the added advantage of not just being for video games and gamers, but also for watching DVDs, as well. The PSP seems to keep gaining in popularity, and has the natural advantage of being made by the Sony corporation is that they are not likely to go out of style any time soon. The console remains popular with gamers, and its added benefits as a DVD player is keeping it popular. One thing that may PSP fans keep pointing out is that the PlayStation Portable is like a shrunken version of a PlayStation 2, and that one does not lose any of the impressive gaming graphics and playability that usually must be sacrificed with a hand held system.
